Depending on how you use the academy, we may collect your name, email address, account role, profile information, course enrolments, lesson progress, assignment submissions, quiz attempts and results, attendance records, certificate information, support messages and payment or enrolment references.

Where a third-party payment provider is used, payment-card or banking details are handled by that provider according to its own terms and are not intended to be stored directly in the Edhurube Academy learning database.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide and secure accounts, deliver courses, track learning progress, administer enrolments, assignments, quizzes and live classes, issue and verify certificates, communicate academy updates, provide support, prevent abuse and improve the service.

Website analytics

We may use privacy-conscious website analytics to understand which pages are visited, how the service performs and where the user experience can be improved. Our initial analytics setup is configured without automatic click capture, session recording or deliberate transmission of names, email addresses, assignment answers, quiz answers or payment references.

Service providers

Edhurube Academy uses technology providers to operate the platform. These may include Supabase for authentication and database services, Vercel and Render for website hosting and deployment, PostHog for website analytics, email providers for sign-in and communication, and meeting or payment providers where those services are enabled.

Students under 18

Some academy programmes may be intended for children or teenagers. Where required, enrolment and account use should be supervised or authorized by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult. Parent or guardian features may be used to view linked-student learning information.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with authorized academy staff and service providers only as reasonably necessary to deliver, administer or secure the service, or where disclosure is required by applicable law.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for education, academic records, certificates, administration, security and legal obligations. We use access controls and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your information

You may ask us to correct inaccurate profile information or make a reasonable request about your personal information. Some academic, transaction, attendance or certificate records may need to be retained for legitimate administrative or legal purposes.
